WE are back for the 2024 Padres Pedal event at Petco Park. Our team is made up of athletes, fundraisers, survivors and thrivers. Our goal this year is to drive awareness around Curebound, and invite our community to be more involved in funding dollars for therapies, diagnostics, prevention and overall treatments for cancer.
1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer.
We are coming together to help accelerate cures for cancer by raising funds at Padres Pedal the Cause 2023. 100% of every dollar raised funds collaborative research among San Diego's top research institutions:
- UC San Diego Health
- Rady Children's Hospital
- Salk Institute
- Sanford Burnham Prebys
- Scripps Research
- La Jolla Institute of Immunology
With Padres Pedal the Cause joining Curebound over the last 2 years, more than 50 million has already funded 100+ innovative research grants in all types of cancer. All of these funds stay invested in San Diego, a top 3 national life science hub and research powerhouse.
